The Sound Engineering Higher Certificate is a full-time course which starts 10 February 2020. It is an accredited course and a grade 12 certificate will be a requirement. This course provides students with the necessary foundation, understanding and skill to work in the Audio Engineering job market and to study further. This course covers many aspects in the Sound Engineering industry including Recording, Mixing, Mastering, MIDI, Live Sound, Electronic Music and a whole lot more. CAE also helps students with job placement in various sound engineering industries.

2020 Sound Engineering Bachelor of Arts Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

Your 3rd year will address in-depth practical applications and skills development of year 1 & 2 of your studies. Every aspect of your previous years of study will be refined in meticulous detail. You will be exposed to industry roll-players that specialize in certain fields.

Emphasis will be targeted on the refinement on Sound Recording Production, Audio Post Production & Mastering, Electronic Music Production, Midi Production using Controller Keyboards, Live Sound Application, Advertising and Marketing industry, Sound for Film & Television, Effects & Dialog for Film, Radio and Television Broadcasting, Internet Media & Streaming, Composing music for Film, Synthesizers & Synthesis, Sound Design, Event Planning & Management.

You will participate in various practical assignments that will give you hands-on experience and exposure working with renowned industry specialists.

Your 3rd year experience aims at honing you to a professional standard in the Audio-Visual industry which is expected of you to succeed. As a 3rd year graduate you will make a meaningful contribution to the society as a well-rounded Audio-Visual professional.
